Baycare Health Partners (BHP)

Baycare Health Partners (BHP) is a robust and viable Physician Hospital Organization (PHO) that effectively links the executive team, and employed and private physicians for purposes of managed care contracting, medical management, pay-for-performance initiatives and other activities. This PHO includes four Baystate Health hospitals and approximately 1,400 physicians in 200 medical practices in Hampden, Hampshire, and Franklin counties. The Baystate subsidiary, Pioneer Valley Accountable Care, LLC (PVAC), is an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) whose goal is to reduce the cost of care while improving quality and the patient experience.
