We are currently seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our dedicated Sterile Processing team onsite in Westfield, MA.

Role Overview
As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety by:
-
Decontaminating biohazardous instruments using automated and manual processes
-
Cleaning, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment per hospital protocol and manufacturer’s instructions
-
Applying infection control and safety standards throughout all processes
-
Carefully inspecting instruments for integrity and proper function before assembly
-
Maintaining accurate assembly of instrument kits with detailed knowledge of surgical instrumentation

Operating various sterilizers, including steam, ethylene oxide, and low-temperature gas plasma systems
Qualifications
-
High School diploma or GED required
-
Certified Sterile Processing Technician (preferred)
-
Experience in Sterile Processing
-
Must obtain CBSPD and/or HSPA certification within 18 months of hire
