Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Practices is looking for a experienced Registered Nurse to join our Women's Health Reproductive Medicine Team team!  

  •  Functions independently to assess develop and implement plan of care for complex patients including medical and/or psychosocial disorders.
  • Provides independent quality triage and patient care utilizing strong assessment skills, point of care testing and quality assurance checks.
  • Establishes plan of care, sets priorities and implements the plan of care with patient/family.
  • Triages and coordinates patient care ensuring access to care and patient success.
  •  Perform daily scheduled nurse visits, which can consist of time sensitive intermuscular injections that supports pregnancy
  • provides individually tailored education to patient and partners;
  • Assist with the daily pregnancy and follicular ultrasounds;
  • Performs intrauterine insemination
  • Monitors patients cycle to ensure time sensitive procedures, tests, and blood work are being scheduled and completed;     

Required Work Experience: 

  • Massachusetts license as an RN and BLS CPR certified.

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
  • Experience in  OBGYN or women's health strongly preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have competency in delivering exceptional nursing care and have proven success in partnering with both physicians and staff

Other Information

  • Location – 3300 Main Street
  • Full Time 40 hours and Part Time 24 hour opportunity available
  • Primary hours M-F.
  • Rotating weekend mornings approx. every 4th or 5th weekend

Education:

Bachelor of Nursing Degree, Diploma in Nursing (Required)

Certifications:

Basic Life Support – American Heart Association, Registered Nurse – State of Massachusetts
