Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) – Rheumatology

Baystate Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Rheumatology team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by coordinating care for patients with chronic and complex conditions while partnering closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and a multidisciplinary care team.
As an Ambulatory RN, you will provide clinical triage, patient assessment, education, care coordination, and ongoing follow-up. You'll manage patient portal communications, conduct nurse visits, support treatment plans, and serve as a trusted resource for patients throughout their care journey. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment and is committed to delivering exceptional ambulatory care.
SCHEDULE:
- Full-Time
- Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience.
- Strong assessment, triage, patient education, and care coordination skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ambulatory or specialty practice nursing experience.
- Experience caring for patients with chronic or complex medical conditions.
- Adult and pediatric nursing experience, or a willingness to work with pediatric patients.

Compensation
Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

$72,800.00 – $101,774.00 – $130,728.00
