Baystate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical to join our Medical-Surgical team at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer, Massachusetts. Our Medical-Surgical team provides comprehensive inpatient care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, working closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality care.

As a Medical-Surgical RN, you will assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams throughout the patient's hospital stay. At Baystate Wing Hospital, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients and families while making a direct impact on the communities served throughout the Pioneer Valley.

The Registered Nurse will:

  • Assess patients, identify changes in condition, and develop individualized plans of care based on clinical needs.

  • Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions safely and effectively.

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.

  • Educate patients and families and support them throughout hospitalization and discharge planning.

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care while advocating for the needs and safety of each patient.

Schedule Details:

  • Full-Time

  • Night shift

  • Weekend rotation as assigned

  • On-call requirements if applicable

Diploma in Nursing (Required)

Certifications:

Basic Life Support – American Heart Association, Registered Nurse – State of Massachusetts

Compensation

Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

$41.82 – $54.06 – $66.30
