Our Neurosciences Unit is part of our Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence and is looking for Per Diem Registered Nurses to join our team.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

  • D5A and NIU Neurosciences are a 37-bed neuro-acute and 9 bed neuro-intercare department within a 4-time Magnet designated organization.

  • We provide comprehensive care for complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, brain injury, brain tumors, spinal injury, and spine tumors.

SCHEDULE:

  • Per Diem, Minimum requirement of 24 hours per month, including one weekend

  • Location: Baystate Medical Center Springfield

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience required.

  • Education: AND required; BSN preferred.

Compensation

Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

Minimum – Midpoint – Maximum

$41.82 – $54.06 – $66.30
