Electroneurodiagnostic Tech II

Summary:
Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist performs comprehensive Electroneurodiagnostic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general oversight of the Neurodiagnostics and Sleep Center Manager and/or the Medical Director or designee. An Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist can provide supervision of an Electroneurodiagnostic Technician Trainee.
Job Responsibilities:
1) Performs all the duties of the Electroneurodiagnostic Technician Trainee. Performs at least two modalities of evoked potentials or TCD or MSLT with high quality results in both the laboratory and intensive care unit.
2) Capable of recording EEG or evoked potentials intraoperatively.
3) Performs special procedure EEGs or EPs such as neonatal recordings in the intensive care nursery, and electrocerebral inactivity recordings. Performs long term video monitoring or ambulatory recordings. Performs advanced neurodiagnostic procedures.
4) Evaluates during scanning process digital EEG or ambulatory EEG.
5) Participates in conferences and technical meetings. Assists junior staff members.
6) Learns to perform advanced EEG/EP recordings during special studies or neurosurgical intraoperative cases.
7) Attends scientific courses and seminars on electroneurodiagnostic testing.
8) Performs other duties related to the laboratory as required. Performs tasks related to system and data management.
9) Recommends to Neurosciences Program Manager, new market equipment, software or technologies.
10) Performs special projects as assigned.

Compensation
Note: The compensation range(s) in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.
