The role of the Workforce Planning Coordinator is to support the Workforce Planning team and the workforce development training programs they develop and run. The role is responsible for project coordination, clerical support, and connecting with training participants for as needed for program support activities. This is a critical position directly impacting both internal employees and external community members that are on workforce development pathways. Moderate administrative support is required such as meeting scheduling, invoice processing, and document gathering from participants in workforce programs; however, there is also significant project coordination responsibilities such as completing and monitoring project plans in collaboration with the Workforce Planning partners and filling out dashboards to track workforce and other business impact metrics.
Support workforce planning and development program activities through scheduling, document collection, and tracking
Ensure Invoices are accurately processed so that accounting for grant and operational dollars is accurate.
Contact program participants to conduct check-in calls as they are going through training programs, alerting workforce planning partners to challenges and barriers.
Coordinate with external workforce and community development partners so that candidates, employees, and prospective trainees connect to needed and appropriate wrap-around services.
Updates status reports and project plans in collaboration with the Workforce Planning Partners and HR Leaders.
Provides meeting scheduling as needed for the Workforce Planning team and Director of Workforce Planning & Compensation. Schedules interviews for Workforce Planning Partners.
Coordinates with media and marketing teams internal and external to the organization to develop program success stories
Assists Director of Workforce Planning in maintaining Workforce Development dashboard.
Prepares meeting materials
Assists with onboarding of new program participants for training programs including apprenticeships.
Support educational funding programs administratively such as the nursing forgivable loan program.
Minimally Required Experience:
Three years’ experience administrative coordination in a complex and multifaceted environment.
Three years project coordination with workforce development/training, recruitment, or strategic planning. Experience imparting knowledge of the healthcare workforce.
Skills / Competencies:
Intermediate experience with Microsoft office products including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Keen attention to detail. High level of oral and written communication skills.
