TRIAGE ASSISTANT
Dept: Emergency Department

36 hours/days
24 hours/days
36 hours/nights
24 hours/nights
per diem
*(shift availability subject to change)
This position will play a critical role in the care of our patients in the Emergency Department by continually monitoring their status, make assessments, and determine needed interventions with patient care.
You will be responsible for:
Continual monitoring of patients in the Emergency Department
Taking vital signs and assessments
Provides for patient safety
Acts as a family/patient advocate
Administers basic patient care
Provides patients with comfort measures, blankets, etc.
Qualifications for the job:
1 year of patient care experience
CPR (American Heart Association, Basic Life Support)
Experience as an EMT, CNA, Medical Assistant, Home Health, PCA will make great candidates for this role.
High School Diploma, GED; , or equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
We currently have full and part time openings, on the day and night shift.
