Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider, and home to Baystate Medical Center (BMC), a 716-bed independent academic medical center and our community's major referral hospital, is seeking an Operations Associate/Monitor Tech to join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES. Baystate Health, Transport Technicians perform an important role providing care to our patients. Simple mobilization, assisting in transferring and preparing ambulatory patients for transport; transporting medications from inpatient pharmacy to units; wheelchairs, stretchers and beds to units; transporting non-critical patients to test procedures, room transfers and discharges. transporting patients and various items throughout the hospital; cleaning assigned equipment used for patient transport. Our supportive work environment allows you to provide optimal patient care.

SCHEDULE.  This position is part time, 20 hours per week, 2nd shift. Must be available weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Saving CPR through American Heart Association required. 
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong Communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
