Directs and supervises laboratory personnel responsible for clinical laboratory testing and procedures. Responsible for efficient and timely reporting of results and for the accuracy and quality of testing and procedures performed. Ensures that staff follow policies and procedures. Troubleshoots client issues, procedural and equipment issues. Reviews work for abnormal or invalid results and resolves discrepancies and errors. Recognizes results requiring referral to Medical Director and/or provider. Assists in performance of critical procedures. Interprets and evaluates complex, difficult or unusual test results. Serves as technical advisor to other personnel performing testing

2) High level organizational and analytic skills required
3) High level computer skills required (Word, XCEL, departmental LIS, etc)
4) Must meet competency requirements for technical areas supervised
