With the direction of the Director of HRIS, the Senior HRIS Analyst will lead and manage the design, configuration, and maintenance of Baystate’s HRIS system, Workday, and other HRIS Technology solutions (e.g., Service Now, LMS, etc). This role will provide technical support to end users by troubleshooting issues and supporting training initiatives. This role will serve as a strong consultative partner to the HR Business Partner(s) and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) in service delivery. You will be responsible for the design and development of standard operating procedures, guidelines and documentation to support change management.  You will maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product development, delivery, and support. This role will provide direction, mentoring, and guidance to other team members in areas of Workday and HR Technology expertise. You will implement, test, and deploy enhancements and new features within Workday. You will support production issues and manage cases through resolution.  You will create assigned reports and dashboards. You will be expected to review Workday Community to stay on top of product changes, as well as network with other Workday customers.  You will, at times, facilitate as well as attend all team meetings and collaborate with their cross-functional HRIS, Payroll and IT partners.  You will work on other projects as assigned. 

Job Responsibilities: 

1) Act as internal subject matter expert on Workday, with working knowledge of multiple Workday functional areas.

2) Accurately collect information to understand and assess business requirements.

3) Manage all activities related to design, configuration, testing, data validation, and deploying new Workday features.

4) Modify business process definitions and related security permissions. 

5) Document Workday configuration settings, processes, and procedures to ensure clarity and maintain a record of system changes.

6) Create calculated fields, advanced and matrix reports, embedded analytics and dashboards.

7) Create and upload EIBs.

8) Maintain organization hierarchies in Workday such as supervisory and cost center.

9) Provide technical support to HR colleagues, managers, and end users.

10) Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

11) Stay up to date on Workday HCM product changes and assess their impact on our usage of Workday.

12) Design and develop Standard Operating Procedures.

13) Create and maintain Workday job aids and videos.

14) Manage and resolve issues using JIRA.

15) Work with audit teams to ensure all key controls are met.

16) Deliver ad hoc Workday training sessions to managers and HR professionals.

17) Serve as a consultative partner to other HR functions on the use of Workday.

18) Provide direction, mentoring and guidance to less experienced HRIS colleagues. 

19) Prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.

Required Work Experience: 

1) 3+ years implementing/supporting Workday HCM. 

2) Strong knowledge of Workday object model, business process framework, calculated fields, configurable security and advanced reporting.

Preferred Work Experience: 

1) 5+ years implementing/supporting Workday HCM in a healthcare setting.

2) Participated in at least one full life cycle Workday HCM implementation at a large organization, preferably in a healthcare company. 

3) Workday Pro Certified in HCM and Reporting.

4) Additional Workday Pro certifications a plus.

6) Deep knowledge of Human Resource data and processes data throughout the employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, job changes, etc.

7) Strong attention to detail and extremely organized. 

8) Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects, priorities, and competing deadlines. 

9) Experience using project management tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Confluence and Service Now or similar tool. 

10) Expert in working with data and leveraging tools such as MS Excel, MS Access, Beyond Compare and Ultra Edit to perform data compare and validation activities.
