Position Summary
As the Hospital Nursing Supervisor (RN Supervisor), you will oversee hospital operations and patient care services during the overnight shift, ensuring safe, high-quality care across all departments. Acting as the on-site administrative leader in the absence of the Administrator-on-Call, you will make key operational decisions, support staff, and promote a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure patient and staff safety while maintaining clinical and regulatory standards.
- Serve as a liaison between administration, patients, staff, and physicians.
- Evaluate staffing needs, assign resources efficiently, and support interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Model exceptional communication, leadership, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork, respect, and service excellence.
- Monitor patient care quality, documentation, and compliance with hospital policies.
- Participate in staff education, in-services, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold HIPAA confidentiality standards and emergency preparedness protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Massachusetts required.
- Diploma in Nursing
Schedule:
- 7p-7a, 36 hours
- Rotating weekends and holidays
