Location: Baystate Noble Hospital
Basic Responsibilities:

You will work collaboratively with the staff and the providers to deliver care and education to the Wound Care patients and their families and assist with clinical decision making/problem solving and to provide hands on treatment of the patient with chronic wounds in the inpatient setting.

You will be responsible for program compliance, outcomes, and functional status: strategize with patients for reaching wellness goals and overcoming obstacles; following unit specific protocols/guidelines; follows WOCN guidelines related to the care and treatment of various types/stages of wounds; monitors for signs of healing/infection; develops a comprehensive assessment plan and monitors the patient's compliance related to the treatment plan.

Nursing Practice Assessment: Assesses the health status, physical, social, and emotional needs of the patient and documents the assessment according to established protocol; collaborates with the health care team in the implementation of the care plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
