DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

  • The Heart Failure Unit has 32 private rooms and provides a full array of services for patients diagnosed with congestive heart failure (CHF) to include care of the pre and post cardiac surgery care, cardiac ablation care, hemodynamic monitoring requiring the use of specialized critical care equipment, and mechanical ventilation support.
  • Baystate Medical Center now uses CardioMEMS, a new technology that reduces hospitalizations and improves quality of life for heart failure patients.

SCHEDULE:

  • Full-time – 36 hours per week
  • Nights (7P-7A) and Days (7A-7P)

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.
  • One year of experience as an RN preferred.
  • NEW GRADS WELCOME TO APPLY!
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification
  • Telemetry experience preferred.
