The Baystate Regional Cancer Program includes a multidisciplinary team of the region's most extensive and accomplished cancer specialist providing the highest caliber treatments including chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery is looking for a Registered Nurse to join their Oncology Infusion team.

Oncology Nurse Clinician Infusion RN- Cancer Center -SIGN ON BONUS

The infusion nurse provides direct care and possesses the knowledge and ability to safely administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, and supportive care measures; and is able to manage the patient's care in relation to these treatments.

Administers blood products, medications, antineoplastic agents, analgesics, and supportive care to hematology/oncology patients, as well as to patients with non-cancer diagnoses and is able to manage care in relation to these treatments. Demonstrates competency in the performance of simple and complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as venipuncture, administration of IV fluids, medications, antineoplastic therapy, care of vascular access devices and declotting of lines.

Experience: 

  • MA RN License and BLS CPR Required.
  • OCN Certification strongly preferred or must obtain within 18 months of hire.
  • BSN and 3-5 years of acute care nursing experience required. For candidates without a BSN- Must have 7 years acute care experience
  • Oncology experience and knowledge of oncology care, protocols, knowledge of chemotherapy, biotherapy, immunotherapy, IV therapy and related supportive measures strongly preferred.

Schedule & Location

  • Location – D ’Amour Center for Cancer Care- 3350 Main Street.
  • Full Time, 36 hours working 4- 9 hours shifts Monday -Friday- No Weekends / holidays.
