Manager of Specialty Practices, Endocrine, Infectious Diseases, Travel Medicine  & Rheumatology

Reporting to the Program Director, the Manager is responsible for the daily, multi-disciplinary operations for Endocrine, Infectious Diseases, Travel Medicine.   The Manager is responsible for the assessment, planning and implementation of programs, processes and services that support the successful day-to-day operations of the practice(s).  In partnership with the Medical leadership, the Manager designs and implements initiatives that optimize financial and operational performance to achieve a high level of quality patient care, patient and provider satisfaction, as well as employee and provider engagement through a team-based approach. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Establishing & Maintaining Relationships and Professional Collaboration 
  • Processes and Procedures 
  • Customer Focus, Patient Satisfaction
  • Human Resource Management and Employee Engagement       
  • Performance Management 
  • Revenue Cycle Management
  • Budget management
  • Program Development and Project Management: 

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Health or Health Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive management experience in healthcare setting that includes clinical operations 
  • A broad and thorough knowledge of: physician practice management and resource utilization; financial systems, budget management, reimbursement issues and regulations.
  • Excellent communication (both oral and written) and presentation skills.
    Strong customer service skills in a high volume setting.
  • Able to establish a working team and provide a high level of customer/patient satisfaction

  • Practice Locations: 3300 Main St., Dwight Street Longmeadow and 40 Wright St. Palmer
  • Practice Size- 23 Total FTE's. 13 of 23 are clinical team members ( RNs and Medical Assistants ) that report to a Clinical RN Supervisor
