CURRENT POSITIONS AVAILABLE (see licensure requirements for each):

  • Crisis Clinician for Emergency Department (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or LMFT; including eligible for licensure qualifies); 40-hrs, 32-hrs, and 24-hrs 2nd shift at Noble, 24-hr 1st or 2nd shift at Wing as well at 24-hrs 1st or 3rd shift and 32-hr 1st shift at BMC

  • ED Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor (LICSW or LMHC + 3 yrs experience required): 32-hr 2nd shift and 24-hr 1st shift

  • CPHP Clinician (LCSW LICSW or LMHC); per diem hours M-F Days

  • IBH Clinician (LICSW); 40-hours M-F Days

Locations available: Belchertown, Greenfield, Northampton, & Springfield

  • Family Advocacy Center Clinician for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (LCSW or LICSW); per diem hours

  • Family Advocacy Center Project Specialist for Infant & Childhood Mental Health Clinician (LICSW); 40-hours M-F Days

  • Eating Disorders Therapist (LICSW); 40-hours M-F Days

  • Adult Outpatient (LICSW); 40-hours M-F Days

  • Women's Health Social Worker (LICSW); 40-hours M-F Days

  • Social Worker – Ambulatory Home Visits (LICSW); 20-hours M-F Days

  • InPatient Social Worker (LCSW or LICSW); 36-hrs 2nd shift in the ED, and 32-hr or 40-hr 1st shift M-F with 3-4 weekends a year rotation, 24-hr 1st shift

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Masters in Social Work PLUS required Massachusetts' licensure as listed above

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:

  • Join a multidisciplinary team to provide specialized care to our patients. We use a problem-oriented approach tailored to the needs of the individual. Our team consists of behavioral health clinicians, unit counselors, a psychiatrist, a physician assistant, psychiatric nurses, psychiatric social workers and master's prepared specialists, behavioral support members, occupational and recreational therapists.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • BAYSTATE HEALTH, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CLINICIANS (BHCs) PERFORM AN IMPORTANT ROLE involving patient evaluation, case management, treatment, discharge planning, and documentation.  The BHC is responsible for gathering a psychosocial evaluation through interviews and record review, and completing a written assessment with case formulation and treatment plan. The BHC facilitates psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic family and systems meetings and may also lead to psychotherapeutic and/or psychoeducational groups as assigned.
