DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:
- APTU offers inpatient treatment for patients ages 18 and older with psychiatric disorders in a safe, secure setting.
- Short-term specialized treatment is provided by a multidisciplinary team.
- We use a problem-oriented approach tailored to the needs of the individual.
- Our team consists of a psychiatrist, a physician assistant, psychiatric nurses, psychiatric social workers and master's prepared specialists, occupational and recreational therapists and unit counselors.
- We offer individual, group, and family therapy. There is a full range of biological treatments available, including pharmacotherapy and electroconvulsive therapy.

SCHEDULE:
- Full-time – 12-hour shifts
- Springfield, MA
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
- Experience: Must have 2 or more years of clinical experience as an RN, preferably in a psychiatric setting.
- Education: ASN required; BSN preferred.
