Baystate Health is looking for a Patient Service Representative to join our Radiology team in Springfield.
SCHEDULE:
- 20 hours per week
- 2:30pm-11pm with every 4th weekend 10:45pm 6:45am
LOCATION:
- 759 Chestnut Street Floor 1 Springfield, MA
RESPONSIBILITIES: Baystate Health’s Patient Service Representatives perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day. This includes greeting patients, check in and check out and requesting copays. Responsibilities also include verifying insurances, answering telephones and faxing medical documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Preferred:
Great interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUST.
Medical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer service.
Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
