We have a stellar Behavioral Health Department seeking a Behavioral Resource Technician (BRT) to join our fast paced Adult Emergency Department team
Up to $1,800 sign-on bonus (external applicants eligible)

SCHEDULE:

7am-7:30pm with every other weekend and rotating weekdays (24-hrs a week)

Weekend and holiday rotation required
LOCATION:

Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
High School Diploma or GED required
-
Experience with Behavioral Health patients preferred
-
Experience as a direct health care provider, previous psych sitter, CNA, MA HHA or PCA
-
CPR through American Heart Association BLS Provider required
-
CPI required within 6 months of employment
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
-
BEHAVIORAL RESOURCE TECHS PERFORM AN IMPORTANT ROLE providing care to our patients. They provide continuous observation of the patient or patients they are assigned to. The BRT role is to ensure that the patient does nothing to harm themselves or others. The BRT must maintain a safe environment and interact with the patient, family, and staff in a caring professional manner.
