Case Management of all medical and family absences. Support employees and managers with the application and approval process for leave and/or disability claim with designated vendors. This includes facilitation of claim process based on information received by employee, leave/disability vendor, workers' compensation vendor, Employee Health Services or Department of Family Medical Leave. Case management responsibilities also includes entering appropriate pay codes into Kronos and updating Leave status in Workday based on claim status. Required to to maintain appropriate contact with all employees and their managers during the leave. Responsible for monitoring the status of the claim and reaching out to employees and managers with any delays or denials. Ensures all medical leaves provide required Return to Work documentation. Ultimately the claims administration must be timely and consistent across the organization with sincerity, grace and empathy.
Partner closely with Return to Work Nurse Case Manager, ADA Case Manager, Employee Health Services and HRBPs for applicable claim administration. Referrals to these partners must timely and appropriate for the variety of claim situations.
Liaison to leave and disability vendors; working to ensure leave information and utilization / timekeeping data are reconciled and accurate. Provides consultation and support to employees, ensuring that employees are connected with the correct service at the correct time. Ensures vendors coordinate services for employees, and that quality of service meets BH expectations.
Auditing – conducts routine audits of data collected from various sources (Kronos, vendor data, Workday), compiles & creates meaningful reports, and takes appropriate measures to ensure accuracy of data. Under direction of the Manager, assists BH leadership in identifying and analyzing organizational trends. Partners with organizational leadership, HR partners, and Leave Management vendors to develop plans to improve leave management outcomes.
Assists department manager with the development and maintenance of employee and manager leave checklists, intranet content and open enrollment materials.
Prior Experience
3 years work experience in one or more areas: Disability Leave Administration, Worker’s Compensation and/or HR Generalist Consulting. Experience with Database Administration and HRMS system such as Workday a plus.
Remote work option available for local applicants within a commutable
distance from the designated BH entity MA and CT.

Education:
Bachelor of Science: Business Administration/Management, GED or HiSET (Required)
Certifications:
Certified Employee Benefit Specialist – International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, Human Resource Professional – Society of Human Resource Management
