Summary Description:
This position is responsible for the pick up and transportation of Pharmaceuticals to and from BH's Retail//Specialty Pharmacies to BH's Pharmacy clients, patients and hospital/practice affiliates. This position will be responsible for delivering medications and other medication-related items deemed necessary by the Courier Lead and/or Dispatch. This position may require flexibility with shift schedule, as well as rotation of weekend, holidays and route schedule. This position may also require flexibility regarding the safe transport of patients.
Job Requirments:
1) Must be 100% accurate in understanding routes, transportation software, and medication delivery requirements.
2) Must be able to complete all courier routes with minimal supervision as required.
3) Must be able to perform assigned duties requested by Lead Courier and/or Dispatch as required with 100% accuracy.
4) Must be able to maintain medication integrity during transport.
5) Must have the ability to transport patients in a safe manner.
6) Must have the ability to transport patients in a safe manner.
Minimally Required Experience:
1-2 years experience as a courier/transportation or equivalent.
Valid Drivers License – Position subject to additional requirements (BH-HR-902 Fleet Policy)
Proficient or above evaluations
No accidents unless no fault
No written warnings
