Baystate Health, a nationally recognized leader in healthcare quality, is looking for an Assistant Clinical Nutrition Manager to join our Clinical Nutrition management team in Western MA. The position would include oversight of the Clinical Nutrition staff of Baystate Wing Hospital, Baystate Noble Hospital and Baystate Franklin Medical Center as well as provide support for the Clinical Nutrition Department which spans the hospitals of the Baystate Health system as well as multiple outpatient clinics.

Clinical Nutrition Department:

  • Reports to Clinical Nutrition Manager for Baystate Healthcare System
  • Join a large, supportive community of dietitians dedicated to elevating clinical nutrition care through evidenced based medical nutrition therapy and a hands-on clinical approach

SCHEDULE:

  • Full time (40 hours)
  • Eight hour day shift, start time varies between 6-10am

LOCATION:

  • Baystate Medical Center, Baystate Wing Hospital, Baystate Noble Hospital, Baystate Franklin Medical Center
  • Western Massachusetts

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Registered Dietitian- Commission on Dietetic Registration (required)
  • Licensed Dietitian- Commonwealth of MA (required)
  • Education: BS in Nutrition or related subject (required) and Masters preferred (Masters required for all those registered 2024 and after)
  • 5 years of clinical experience required.
    Leadership capabilities and skills essential
    Adult learner knowledge and expertise 
    Supervisory or project management experience
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Project management experienced preferred
    Prior teaching experience
    Prior experience with publication and research
    Prior experience with professional presentations
    Prior experience in a teaching hospital

The base pay range shown above considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including knowledge/skills; relevant experience and training; education/certifications/licensure; and other business and organizational factors. This base pay range does not include our comprehensive benefits package and any incentive payments that may be applicable to this role.
