At Baystate Health, Staff Assistants perform an important role providing extensive administrative support (60% or more of the time) to a division chief and/or leadership team, and department and may also provide secretarial support to manager. Completes a variety of complex analyses, reports, and databases. Maintains administrative calendars, creates and maintains clinical coverage schedules, and/or rotation schedules. Processes administrative paperwork, acts as payroll timekeeper, and assists with projects as needed. Creates complex spreadsheets and other documents. Requires intermediate to advanced use of personal computer. Represents the department in resolving problems and exchange of information, interpretation of departmental policy and procedures.

Position is full time : Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30 pm.
Remote work: Potential for 1 day/week remote work option after 90 day orientation.
